

Alison Mackinnon is a voice and acting teacher and director.
Dialect coaching includes: Angels in America (Headlong/UK tour), Piano/Forte (Royal Court), The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (West End), Pal Joey (New Wolsey), Paradise Now and Then (Gay Sweatshop, UK tour), Mrs Warren’s Profession (Orange Tree), The Devil’s Only Sleeping (Coventry Belgrade) and Me and Mamie O'Rourke (Watford Palace).
Film includes: The Poet, Mists of Avalon, Saving Grace, Croupier, Landgirls, Jane Eyre, Zoya, Desert du Feu and The Return of Sandokan.
Directing includes: Pillars of the Community, The Cherry Orchard, Hedda Gabler, Illyria by Bryony Lavery, King Lear and devised work.
Alison is currently senior lecturer at Rose Bruford College.
